Exp3 - Mash Up

Authority is power perceived as legitimated by the social structure. Power is measured by ambition, vision, execution, determination, luck and timing among social beings. Successful or not it will bound you into uncharted territory and constructively discontent. But care is needed with power has the ability to desolate and place you or others into jeopardy. We may pursue other means to achieve end results but remember there are externalities we cannot control.

EXP 2 Last Consultation

A second but last consultation with my tutor with Matt was accounted on the 2nd of May. After showing what I've done, the preminary design had some weak concept presence so there was changes with the design to emphasise my concept better.

The below picture shows the changes made with the design.

The 2 shapes are seperated with a meeting place between the two monument which lies along the cliff edge.

EXP 2 - Electroliquid Aggregation

I've chosen to Electroliquid Aggregation of 'Monolithic' and 'Hidden' axonometric shapes together and create a new form along with its concept. After consultation with my tutor Matt Day, creativity flowed and ideas exchanged, into a concluding concept by taking both words literally, combine/place the axonometric shapes into one another, resulting with a "Hidden Treasure" philosophy.

Definition
Monolithic - Huge blocks of stone
Hidden - To concel from knowledge, obstruct the view of

Possible Name
  • Ones Light Under a Bushel
  • Heart of Stone
Philosophy
The exterior form shields outside view from entrance view showing a large stone mass, whilst the interior reveals a space that is natures best kept secret of a beautiful view.

Aesthetics
Exterior
The newly form shape will be placed on a cliff/mountain edge that overseers the landscape connecting with its envirnoment by feeling grounded using textures/materials that suggests heaviness. The exterior will be seen as either from within the landscape of large stones or curved away from the land where it is located.

Interior
As one enters into the space via a small opening they have a cave-like experience feeling pulled in, curious whilst at the same time leaving reality behind them. At the end of the tunnel, it space reveals a large space, nature's jem and captivating views of the landscape.
